[Photos] Thanks for Attending the OEMBA Spring Social!

Our 2024 OEMBA Spring Social at the beautiful Julia Morgan House was a huge success!



Nearly 90 EMBA graduates, current students, staff and faculty attended our April 18th event. We had a fantastic time reconnecting, meeting new people, and learning new things about each other through our "human bingo" game.


HIGHLIGHTS:


Guest speaker Christopher Wang, MBA, talked about his experience in the EMBA program and how he has leveraged his MBA learnings in his career. Chris is the director of research administration at the UC Davis School of Medicine. He was part of the Intel 14 cohort. He will


Guest speaker Sadie St. Lawrence, MS, shared her journey to becoming a founder, podcaster, and instructor. She also discussed insights in how AI is changing work — an area that’s impacting and influencing all industries. Sadie is the founder of Women in Data and the Human Machine Collaboration Institute (HMCI). Women in Data is the largest global community for women in data and AI, with 60,000+ members in 55+ countries.


Guest Speaker Donna Walters, MBA, announced the Business Chapter Inaugural Golf Tournament on June 28. The OEMBA is collaborating on the event. Learn more about playing in or sponsoring the tournament.


Emcee and board member Shefali Tamakuwala announced that the OEMBA Board is exploring becoming an official alumni chapter. Currently, we are an unofficial networking group. Becoming an official chapter will allow us to use Sac State Alumni Association resources.
